1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting StafflyBot to a Discord server, logging into StafflyBot.com or the Staffly staff portal, or otherwise using Staffly's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use StafflyBot or StafflyBot.com.
2. Description of Service
StafflyBot is a Discord bot and companion website that provide staff activity tracking, staff profiles, quota management, flags, leave of absence, applications, promotions and moderation-support tools for Discord servers. Some features are labeled Beta and may change or be removed. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
3. Eligibility and Your Discord Account
You must have a valid Discord account to use StafflyBot or log into StafflyBot.com, and you must otherwise be permitted to use Discord under Discord's own Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your Discord account while using our services.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use StafflyBot or StafflyBot.com in a way that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or that attempts to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data. Server owners and administrators are responsible for how StafflyBot is configured and used within their own servers.
You must not try to guess, buy, sell or share support codes, or use another person's access to a dashboard.
5. Server Owners and Staff Tracking
Server owners and administrators who use StafflyBot to track staff, including staff profiles, activity history, flags, leave, applications and promotions, are responsible for telling their staff about that tracking and for using it fairly and lawfully. Staffly provides the tools. Decisions made about staff members using those tools are the server's own.
6. Staffly Support Access
A server owner may choose to give Staffly staff access to their server's dashboard by sharing a support code from the Access tab. A code works one time and expires after 5 minutes. A support session lasts 2 hours, is view only unless the owner allows editing, and can be ended by the owner at any time.
By sharing a code you allow the Staffly staff member who enters it to see that server's dashboard, including its staff tracking data, for the length of the session. Staffly staff will only use this access to help with your request, and Staffly keeps a record of each session.
7. Suspension and Termination
Staffly reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to StafflyBot at any time, with or without notice, if we believe that these Terms have been violated or that the use of StafflyBot presents a risk to Staffly, Discord, our users, or other individuals.
A suspension may apply to:
- An individual user
- A Discord server
- A Staffly account
- A specific feature
- Any other associated access to Staffly services
Attempting to circumvent a suspension may result in additional restrictions or permanent termination.
8. Free and Paid Service
The core StafflyBot features are free. Staffly Premium and the add-on suites are paid, and are covered by the Premium Terms and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Because the service is provided as available, Staffly does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. Staffly may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the service at any time.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of StafflyBot involves the collection and processing of information necessary to provide the service. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.
10. Discord
StafflyBot operates through Discord and may interact with Discord servers, users, roles, messages, and other Discord features. Staffly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and policies.
11. Roles and Permissions
Some features, such as promotions, change roles in your server. StafflyBot can only change roles that sit below its own role in your server's role list. You are responsible for choosing which roles are given or removed, and for checking that the roles you choose are appropriate to hand out.
12. Changes to These Terms
Staffly may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If the Terms are changed, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new Last Updated date. Continued use of StafflyBot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Disclaimer
StafflyBot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Staffly makes no guarantee that StafflyBot will meet your specific requirements or that the service will always operate without interruption, errors, or data loss.
14. Premium, Payments and Taxes
Paid features are bought by the server owner through Stripe. Stripe may act as the seller of record and handle sales tax and VAT. See the Premium Terms for billing, renewal, cancellation, custom bot hosting and what happens when a subscription ends.
15. Add-on Suites and Records About People
The HR, Recruitment, Incidents, Recognition and Community suites let a server keep records about real people, such as employee notes, candidate ratings and incident cases. You must keep these records only for a lawful and fair purpose, keep them accurate, not use them to harass, discriminate against or defame anyone, and not store anything you are not allowed to keep. Anyone you give dashboard access can see the records they are allowed to see, so give access carefully. Staffly support cannot open the suites.
Community pages are public. Anything you put on one (names, titles, bios, announcements, links) can be seen by anyone on the internet. Only publish what the person agreed to publish, and do not publish anything illegal, hateful, sexual, misleading, or that links to harmful or scam sites. Staffly may switch off a page that breaks these rules.
16. Custom Bots and Uploads
If you give Staffly a bot token or upload images, you promise you have the right to, and that they follow Discord's rules and the law. See the Premium Terms.
